Rocky Henderson, President

Hope Services, Inc. was acquired by Rocky Henderson who has over 25 years of executive management experience in the oilfield fabrication business. Just prior to purchasing Hope, Mr. Henderson was working with a Fortune 1000 company in the United States and Asia to expand their operations into the derrick barge industry.   Mr. Henderson is a seasoned veteran of the industry having constructed four derrick barges and secured long term contracts for the derrick barge operations.

In the late 1980’s, Mr. Henderson co-founded and was the president of a successful oilfield fabrication company which included oil and gas construction and marine derrick barge operations.  He spent sixteen years leading and expanding the company’s operations turning what was a start-up company into a successful fabrication business. Mr. Henderson brings a depth of knowledge, an experienced management team and a quality workforce to Hope.     


Jay Henderson, Vice President

Jay Henderson brings to Hope Services over 32 years of oilfield and marine related construction experience including  25 years in a supervisory capacity managing projects and business units.  He is experienced in shipbuilding, platform
fabrication and offshore operations stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to Asia.  He is a veteran of the derrick barge industry, having supervised multiple derrick barge operations for two companies that specialize in offshore platform removal, installation and pipeline work. 

Most recently, Mr. Henderson managed derrick barge operations for a publicly traded company, operating in multiple Asian countries, with project revenues exceeding $100 million annually.  This long term project included working in the United States, Asia, and Europe to also oversee the building and outfitting of three large revolving crane derrick barges plus anchor handling tugs.

Mr. Henderson's portfolio at Hope Services will include managing the company's established shipbuilding, repair and platform refurbishment facilities.  

Eugene Dickerson, General Manager

Eugene worked in the Offshore Oil and Gas Fabrication industry for the past 35 years. Starting in the industry as a fitter/welder in 1976 and working his way up through the ranks has given him hands on experience in all aspects of this field. He served as VP of the Fabrication Division at OSFI for 14 years working for Rocky Henderson. During this time he was involved in all aspects of conventional and turnkey fabrication and outfitting of offshore oil and gas production facilities. Upon leaving OSFI he worked for eight years first as Senior Project Manager and then as Operations Manager for Premier Industries Fabrication Division. His most recent projects were performed for Shell’s Mars B “Olympus” deep water platform and Noble Energy’s “Alen” international project. He has extensive experience in managing both new build and refurbishment projects including the newer QA/QC and Project documentation requirements that are now required for modern Oil and Gas Facilities projects.



Shana Jones, Vice President of Business Development

 

Shana joins Hope Services after spending most of her professional career with the federal government. Most recently, she served as an appointee at the United States Department of Justice assigned to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas. In this position she was the Special Assistant to the United States Attorney where she was a trusted advisor to the U.S. Attorney and director of public affairs and media relations.

Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Shana was in Washington, D.C. where she was the Legislative Director for Congressman Bob Riley (R-AL).   As the Legislative Director she was a senior advisor to and key member of the Congressman’s staff and worked to ensure his legislative priorities were enacted into law. 

Early in her career, Shana also practiced law in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she represented corporations in insurance defense litigation and toxic tort defense. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Paul Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.
